A letter to those who find Christmas hard
Dear Readers,
I wanted to take a moment to reach out to those who may be struggling this festive season. It can be a challenging time for many, filled with mixed emotions, expectations and memories, making it feel quite overwhelming.
If you are finding it especially difficult this year, remember you are not alone. It’s okay to feel however you may feel and it’s important to take care of yourself.
Allow yourself to take a step back when you feel you need to. Focus on what brings you comfort, whether that’s spending time with loved ones, enjoying your favourite movie or simply taking some quiet moments for yourself. It is perfectly fine to replace old traditions by creating new ones that suit you better.
Remember, it’s okay to set boundaries. You don’t have to attend every gathering or participate in every tradition if it doesn’t feel right. Prioritise your well-being and don’t hesitate to reach out to someone you trust if you need to talk.
Just because it is a busy time of year, don’t neglect yourself. Sometimes, just getting outside for a walk or practicing mindfulness can help lift your spirits.
Surround yourself with positivity, whether that’s through uplifting music, comforting books or engaging in activities that bring you joy.
Here at Style-ish we are sending love and understanding to everyone who is struggling this season. You matter and your feelings are always valid. Take care of yourself and please remember that brighter days are ahead.
With warmth,
The team at Style-ish
